Sordid echoes of the past

I had known there was a volume of very important work that was missing from my collection. Its existence was just a whisper of a memory and part of me had given up on it altogether when suddenly it surfaced.

It's not important what it is so much that it had happened. To many times artists are expecting perfection of themselves and want to present a flawless final product.

The journey is the meat and potatoes of exhibiting talent. We'd never reach our versions of perfection without so many imperfect movements toward that end.

It's never really perfect though is it? Sometimes the happenstance is perfect, that line, casually brandished in a fit of sketching happened to stick the landing.

So enough musing, let's see what we have.

Before you go, I want to impart a very important point on one aspect of how to human - you should be a person of some principles. Currently language is weaponized and words do not mean what you think they would mean. One can simply be shed of their humanity by the right source artfully applying the label "terrorist" to them. Terror can be redefined to be simply be the expression of dissent. Consent can be redefined to mean your silence = yes. And so on.

You need to be armed with the ability to recognize the principles beneath the distracting language in order to discern the movement, possibly the motive..

Believe in something other than the lizard brain motion towards pleasure and away from pain - which is hard when people are simply trying to survive, but I assure you the pressures you feel that weight you down are mostly made-up. When you stop consenting to the control of these things upon your psyche, you are then freed up to perceive the actual motions, which are more pressing threats to our survival.
